Jennifer Vilayvong, wife and mother of 2 was looking to start a career with her passion for business. Her first interest was franchising a Domino's Pizza. Domino's Pizza was a part time job through high school for Jenn. With her skills, motivation and dedication she earned each title as a customer service rep, shift runner, deliver driver, assistant manager, general manager and supervisor through a 10 year span. With raising 2 small children, Jenn found it difficult to balance family and long hours as a new franchisee. By luck of the draw, a close friend of the family and owner of Oishii Japanese Express, Manny announced she was ready for a new life adventure. Oishii was on the market! Jenn was excited about the news since she was well acquainted with the town from managing Domino's Pizza right next door to Oishii. With out a plan, with out thinking, it was what Jenn's heart wanted! She impetuously called Manny. The process moved so quick, Jenn had only one night to create a new name. After hours of contemplating, Jenn was satisfied with "Kyjo's." Kyjo's came from her 2 children's nick names, son, "Kyky" and daughter, "Jojo." Kyjo's was established on December 9, 2009.
"It has been 4 years of learning and experiencing the business. I had no knowledge of being a business owner. The only thing I knew was good food and great customer service. I have been blessed with a hardworking and dedicated crew. Together as a team, we've created Kyjo's history and are continuing to grow. Thank you Troutman for having us and for your infinite support. We will continue to try our best every day to keep a smile on your faces!" -Jenn
